Join me July 17 - 19, 2026 for an exciting 3-day Chop Class of a 1952 Chevrolet 2-Door Sedan. Whether you’re here to learn, participate, or just hang out, this will be an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss it.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Friday – Kickoff & Layout Planning
We’ll start with layout planning and a casual pizza night in the shop. It’s the perfect time to meet everyone and get familiar with the project. (Sometimes we even chop it all apart at this time if everyone is stoked!)
Saturday – Chop Day!
This is the big day! We’ll make the major cuts and lower the roof—targeting a 4-6 inch chop
(final look may vary if the car is sold). You’ll learn:
- Why and where cuts are made
- How to align structure and outer skin
- Bracing techniques to prevent movement
- Different chop styles and challenges
Lunch is included – let us know about any allergies in advance.
Sunday – Metal Shaping & Final Assembly
We’ll finish any remaining work and shape new metal for the rear sail panels.
Everyone will participate and receive a hands-on intro to shrinking and stretching with basic tools.
Final Notes
- All skill levels welcome - jump in or observe at your pace
- Bring questions and curiosity - we’ve got you covered
- Be ready to learn, create, and have a blast
